Join us for "Goblins & Giggles," an evening of spooky-ish...
The Plumb Memorial Library is truly the jewel of Shelton. It is named for David Wells Plumb. Visitors can attend meetings and programs, research Shelton and Connecticut history, check out materials for enlightenment and fun, ask reference questions, use the technology available, and interact with their fellow community members.
The aim of the Library is to help people keep up with change in all areas, educate themselves continuously, become socially and politically aware, be more capable in their occupations, develop their creative abilities, appreciate literature and the arts, be knowledgeable about the past, and stimulate their own personal and social well being. It is the responsibility of the library to assemble, display, store, and retrieve information of individual and general interest as can be found in books and related informational and recreations materials.
