Nestled near Connecticut’s “notch”, the historic town of Suffield is ideally situated between Boston, New York City and Hartford. Our unique contemporary building was designed by renowned architect Warren Platner in 1972. The collection of the library contains 78,000 volumes. The library circulates 87,182 items per year. The library serves a population of 15,735 residents . The Library houses a substantial collection of historical documents. These items include letters, account books, diaries, photographs and compiled genealogy. There is also a collection of material concerning the Western Reserve area of Connecticut.
