The Fairfield County Writers’ Studio is a creative community committed to the Art, Craft and Business of writing.
FC Writers’ Studio helps emerging and established writers grow their stories and their careers with support, workshops and master classes led by faculty members whose work has received national acclaim.
The studio offers small classes at a reasonable cost, as well as one-on-one editing, free events and resources in a positive, pro-active, professional – and fun – environment.
Co-founders Tessa Smith McGovern and Carol Leonetti Dannhauser created the Fairfield County Writers’ Studio in 2016. Both are experienced writers and teachers who had been working independently to strengthen and nurture the writing community in Fairfield County prior to joining forces to form FC Writers’ Studio. Together, they recruited extraordinary writers and teachers whose list of awards, experience and accolades pales only in comparison to their efforts to help fellow writers learn and thrive.
