Claire Griffin’s debut novel Nowhere to Run (2013) was a Kirkus Reviews Book of the Year. Claire has rowed competitively, traveled to seven continents, kayaked below the Antarctic Circle, tent camped through much of Africa, driven across the Sahara, eaten bugs, and been stung by scorpions two separate times. She has always said “yes” to adventure, which may be why for her second novel, she decided to write about Belle Boyd, a scandalous woman of history. A Rebellious Woman was published in 2021.
