DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of Fairfield Public Library for their Annual Meeting & Author Event\, featuring Latina authors Naima Coster and Cleyvis Natera in conversation with Christine Kandic Torres. \nIn celebration of Latin American Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15)\, the authors will discuss Coster’s book Take What You Can (release date: August 4) and Natera’s The Grand Paloma Resort (paperback edition issued July 14).  Barrett Bookstore will be on hand to sell copies of both books. \nA brief business meeting will lead off the annual meeting\, followed by the installation of officers\, conversation with the authors\, and book signings.  Light refreshments will be served. \nRegistration is required for this special event.
