Fairfield Public Library’s “What’s Cooking?” Series: Alec Lobrano

July 19 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Food writer Alexander Lobrano will virtually discuss his new book, My Place at the Table: a Recipe for a Delicious Life in Paris. Charming, gripping, and often poignant, My Place at the Table is a coming-of-age story that vividly recounts how a timid boy from the suburbs of Connecticut became one of the most influential dining critics and food writers in France. Alec grew up in Connecticut and lived in Boston, New York and London before moving to Paris, his home today, in 1986. He has written about food and travel for Gourmet magazine, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bon Appetit, and Travel & Leisure, among other publications.

Registration is required for this free program; a Zoom link will be emailed to participants.
