Author Talk with Christopher Shaw Myers

Author Christopher Shaw Myers will discuss his just-published book about his famous uncle, actor Robert Shaw.  Robert Shaw: an Actor’s Life on the Set of Jaws and Beyond is an honest and intimate look at the actor, compiled from interviews, letters, scrapbooks and the author’s own memories of his uncle.  Generous, vibrant, and sometimes polarizing, Shaw grew up in Cornwall, England, and had a storied career on the British and American stage before being cast as the iconic shark-hunter Quint in Steven Spielberg’s Jaws.  Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the film with this fascinating lecture by Chris Myers.
